THE FOOSBALL TOURNAMENT

Eileen: Would Maxine or Shawn ever let you miss class for a foosball tournament?

Of course, both Dale and I answered no to that, but nonetheless, we were off the hook. Although she said she was disappointed, photography instructor Eileen Leier said she would allow us to show up to photography class late tonight. While at first we were excited about entering a team in the tournament, by our last game we just wanted to get out of there. Dale and I finished a woeful 0-5, and our closest defeat was a 10-5 loss. To say these players were good is an understatement.
The tournament, made up of 11 teams, was split in two divisions, one with six teams and one with five. The division we were placed in made no difference to us, we just wanted to play. Meghan, being the trooper she is, also hung around at Heroes to cheer us on and to miss the first half of photography of course.

There will be more festivities as the week progresses, and I plan on attending a few. Some other activities as part of the CSS Winter Fair include a CD Toss, Lacrosse, a Hotdog Eating Contest (Silv told me he could top 20, but won't enter for no reason), Ping Pong, Video Hockey Tournaments, an Obstacle Course and Tug-O-War.
